Enjoy the

Riding NC!
Ride
seasoned trail horses and experience the outdoors in a
relaxed, unhurried manner.
Beginner horseback riders are
always welcome. Young or old, experienced or not,
practically everyone can ride one of our horses. Riders
for our guided trail rides must be at least 8 years
old & weigh less than 225 lbs.
All NC horseback riders receive personalized attention
and instruction from our friendly Wranglers. Safety
equipment is provided.
Our sure-footed horses are gentle enough for beginners, so
take
advantage of this opportunity to horseback ride NC and see Leatherwood's pristine
trails
under safe, supervised conditions.

LEAD LINE RIDES
For the younger kids (ages 2
& up) and timid adults, we now offer a lead-line rides.
This one-on-one ride will be given by a trained handler in a
controlled environment on a well seasoned docile horse.

The
horses are led by a wrangler of Leatherwood Mountains. We
can accommodate as many children during these sessions as
time will permit
