Morning Meeting Prior To Annual
The meeting was called to order by President Russ
Simmons to review the agenda for the annual meeting this
afternoon.
The members present included Russ Simmons, Chuck Mann,
Randy Burke, David Bridgers, Lelia Ivey, Delaine Parker,
and Diane Ertel.
The Construction Review Committee was discussed with
concerns voiced about enforcement of the covenants and
possible penalties being imposed. A committee is to be
established, composed of two members of the POA at
large, two board members, and a liaison person, namely
Delaine Parker.
Diane Ertel went over her items to be presented relative
to our social events. She is also moderating a nicely
prepared power point presentation.
Lelia Ivey will do a presentation on the security and
new gates.
The roads will be handled by Russ and Chuck.
Rex Craig will speak on the new fire department and the
progress on that project.
Randy Burke will give an update on our insurance.
Our finances will be presented by our treasurer, John
Single. The main focus will be our budget for 2006 and
the transition of our bookkeeping to a CPA firm in
Wilkesboro.
The meeting was adjourned and several members proceeded
to the barn to help set up for the annual meeting.
